1. “chilango”: someone from Mexico City

2. “guëy” or “wey”: a fundamental of Mexican slang, it’s “what everybody calls everybody without saying their names,” my friend explains. “Even the girls. It’s a soft but bad word.”

3. “¿Que paso barrio?” or “¿Que tranza wey?”: Wassup homie

4. “chido”: cool or ok
